It finally rained here in Phoenix yesterday after almost 150 days without rain. Once it started to come down, it didn’t let up until well after nightfall.
Since it was raining, I figured I’d stay in and work on something just for fun; a project that I would never normally work on because it doesn’t pay the bills. As I mentioned before in a previous post, I’m definitely not a programmer but I do enjoy figuring things out first-hand and on my own. To me programming is like solving a complex puzzle; even though I do get frustrated and lost frequently, I still enjoy it.

After reading my daily dose of the hype and head-dizzying buzzwords surrounding the Web 2.0 bubble, I occassionally search for parodies and other sites discussing the obsurdity of some of it. December 4th, 2005 — Programming, E-Commerce, Anything Else
While employed for over 4 years on different contract positions as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, I became very familiar with a variety of programming languages (not HTML or CSS which are markup languages, I’m referring to ASP, PHP, JAVA, XML, and a few others). Some of these languages I actually became so involved with that I ended a few projects as a novice programmer in whatever language I needed to focus on as required.
